Taste of Tizmoret

NEW for 2027! Tizmoret Shoshana is opening a new bunk for campers finishing 4th and 5th grades! While we have accepted 5th graders as regular campers in the past, and will continue to do so, we see the need for a more structured camper experience in the youngest bunks.

Taste of Tizmoret programming has not yet been finalized, but will likely include a sampler of various arts available at camp. Counselors and other staff will be with the bunk throughout the day - which is not to say that our regular camp program is a free-for-all! Far from it! But the regular camp program does require a greater degree of independence since each girl has her own schedule rather than going to activities with her bunk.

We anticipate a combination of going to activities as a bunk and having a little more choice for some parts of the day, while keeping the classic Tizmoret experience as intact as possible for our youngest campers.

Q. This sounds great! Where do I sign up?
A. Registration starts November 1st. Taste of Tizmoret will be offered in SECOND HALF only for 2027. dates are Tues.July 27-Sun.Aug.8 with an optional extension to stay until on Tues.Aug.17.

Q. I have a 5th grader. How do I know which program is best?
A. It depends on your daughter. If you think she’s ready for a full camp program, whether 3 or 4 weeks long, you could go straight to the regular camper. But if you want her to be able to try out overnight camp without the full commitment, Taste of Tizmoret might be right for her.
